For most states, in order to register your rebuilt motorcycle after you’ve completed building it you must take it to the DMV providing a bill of sale for parts purchased, they will check the numbers on the bike, you will pay a fee for the paperwork and that should be it. Requirements vary by state so check with your local DMV first.
