1981 Harley Davidson Sportster XLH 1000cc Project bike. I NEED TO SELL FAST!!! THIS SPORTSTER IS A RAT BIKE. I purchased it about 2 1/2 years ago for $3400.00 as a project bike as I liked the style and I was going to refurbish it top to bottom. This bike ran fine two years ago and I rode it for a bit and then I came across a problem with the starter. With a bit of TLC, it would be road worthy again. All the work I believe it needs is the tranny's derby cover popped off and tighten back up the starter to the case as the starter bolts are loose, other than that, a bit of TLC, it would be road worthy again after a new battery is installed, and ya gasser up. but it has set for two years, so I have to sell AS IS WHERE IS.. I have not had time to work on it, as I had a new kiddo 20 months ago, been way too busy enjoying him and have had other work get in the way, or I wound have it back on the road running around.
